I went with school and they were very welcoming to us. We had a TV in our room and all the girls came watched the England football match. Good times :-)

I'm maybe a bit biased in my review since my wife, as a young girl, frequented this cafe with her family 60 years ago. It is updated some since then but is still the very dependable "Cafe Deese-Maxe". It is a traditional cafe, with a variety of fresh cakes and very good coffee, all served at the table. Prices are far better than most cafes of a similar ilk. The Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte is about the best I've ever had, and for Euro 3.90 a slice!
